Session Description
There is growing recognition today of the deep interlinkages between the climate change and biodiversity loss crises. This session will practically explore what it means to integrate the nature and climate agendas in order to support the goals of both the Paris Agreement and the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. It will also identify what the major implementation barriers are, and how these can be overcome by various actors, ahead of CBD SBSTTA25 and UNFCCC COP28, including on mobilising greater financing.
