Session Description
This session addresses the critical $700 billion annual finance gap for nature and biodiversity, emphasising the need for new private financing alongside existing mechanisms. The session will critically examine the costs of delivering the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) from two key perspectives: 1) the financial challenges of unlocking new conservation funding and 2) the trade-offs required to achieve biodiversity goals and their potential cascading effects. Join the discussion to better understand how to finance and manage the transition to a sustainable future for nature and people.
