WWF International
Daudi joined WWF International in 2024 as Chief Conservation Officer to lead the Global Conservation Division. He is a passionate African conservation and development leader with over 30 years of progressive experience and diversified experience, with over 15 years in senior leadership and management roles. His passion is fuelled by the fact that Africa is rapidly modernizing with its natural resources contributing immensely to this development and yet their role is not fully acknowledged especially for local development and poverty reduction and they continue to be over-exploited. He has contributed to solutions through designing, fundraising and managing evidence-based programs that ensure sustainable conservation of natural resources especially wildlife; advocating with governments and private sector for natural resources to be appropriately recognized as critical to the future of African development; and working with diverse stakeholder to ensure natural resources especially wildlife are conserved for posterity - future generations.
