Session Description
This session will consider some promising use cases for blended finance, using examples from different financial institutions which have developed and deployed blended finance products to support delivery of climate and nature goals. The discussion will then shift to assess the constraints to scaling such innovative and successful models to the wider financial sector, the roles of regulators and policymakers in ensuring blended finance products can be successfully scaled, and the approaches for successfully ramping up blended finance across multiple geographies to meet the 2030 goals for nature and climate.
