Fernando Bertolucci

Agronomist (Engineer), Master of Science in Genetics and Plant Breeding and Doctor Honoris Causa, with 35 years of experience in the forest products industry. Currently, Fernando is responsible for Suzano`s corporate sustainability strategy and leadership, including institutional, environmental and social development areas. He is also responsible for the leadership of R&D and innovation activities, including tree breeding, plant biotechnology, forest management, process & product development (pulp, paper and biopropducts). Fernando holds specialization courses in Business Management (Fundação Dom Cabral), Forest Management (UFLA), Product Development (Cambridge University – England), Driving Strategic Innovation (IMD - Switzerland) and Global Executive Academy (MIT - USA).
