GRAUS Indigenous Organization (Gram Unnayon Sangathon)
Mya Mya Nue started her development career with the formation of GRAUS (Gram Unnayon Sangathon), an Indigenous Rural Socio-Economic Development Organization of Bandarban Hill District, Bangladesh, and an IPO Member of IUCN. She is the Co-Founder of the Organization and has more than 20 year’s working experiences in Community Empowerment and Economic Development Field in Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh including working experiences with UNDP and ICIMOD as Team Leader/Project Coordinator where Gender is implemented Cross-cutting activities. Presently, she is playing a vital role as Advisor - Gender and Community Cohesion in GRAUS Organization. Ms. Nue obtained MA in Philosophy from National University Bangladesh in 2011 and MBA on Human Resource Management from Southern University in 2013. Possess good liaison skills for coordinating with governmental departments, local government institutions, CBOs, NGOs and beneficiary communities as well as have demonstrated excellent leadership and team spirit working with Ministries, NGOs staff, GoB relevant department’s staff and community leaders. She is committed to upholding values and ethics of humanitarian work and community development in hill districts.
