Biography

 

  1. After completing HEC preparation in 1992, he graduated from SKEMA Lille (1995). Matthieu Delabie completed and enriched his training in 2016 with a certificate of advanced studies in environmental strategy at AgroParisTech and a dedicated training on Economic and financial instruments for climate and biodiversity organised by CIRAD.

 

  1. His early career was oriented towards finance: auditor at Ernst & Young 1996 to 1998, he was then deputy to the financial director of Scott Bader SA in Amiens, then business analyst at Scott Bader Limited Wollaston and financial director of the chemicals branch of British Petroleum in Wingles (Pas-de-Calais).

 

  1. “Parc du Marquenterre” / Baie de Somme” Nature Reserve. From 2003 to 2008, Matthieu Delabie was deputy director of the operational management of the Baie de Somme mixed union and manager of “Le Parc du Marquenterre”.

 

  1. “Conservatoire du Littoral” From 2008 to 2019, he was regional delegate of the Coastal Conservatory in the Manche-North Sea and in Languedoc-Roussillon.

 

  1. “Office Français de la Biodiversité”, first as deputy head of the support and mobilization of businesses and territories department from October 2019 to July 2023. In this context, he contributed to the launch of the “Companies committed to nature” program, represented the OFB in the CSR and biodiversity, innovation and finance business networks within Afnor. Since august 2013, Matthieu is Coordinator, Biodiversity Finance and Economic Instruments at Office français de la biodiversité and is  Committee Chair, ISO/TC331 since march 2024.
