Ana Nieto

Ana Nieto, IUCN Global Head, Species Conservation Action, is being responsible for the delivery of science-based conservation action for threatened species, including the IUCN Save Our Species programme. She has over 20 years of professional experience working for international non-for profit organisations. Previously, Ana worked at the IUCN Regional Office for Europe (Brussels), ECNC-European Centre for Nature Conservation (the Netherlands), EUCC–The Coastal Union (the Netherlands) and did some consultancy work for the European Environment Agency. Ana holds a Master Degree in Environmental Science/Environmental Management.
