Driven by a deep passion for the responsible stewardship of tropical forests, Vincent Istace is the Sustainability Head for Wood Products at Olam Agri. He leverages his extensive expertise to champion strategies to protect the forests, foster inclusive growth and deliver long-term benefits to communities. Vincent’s journey in sustainability is underpinned by a strong academic foundation, including Agronomy, an Executive MBA with a focus on international business and leadership, Business Sustainability Management and a certification as an Environmental, Social, and Governance Analyst.

Vincent spearheads various international working groups and boards relating to tropical forest management and certification. Vincent firmly believes that collaboration is the key to success. Every day, he engages with a diverse range of partners, driving forward Olam Agri’s mission to be a leader in responsible forest management. His vision is clear: to create a future where the tropical forests thrive alongside the communities that depend on them, ensuring that sustainability is not just a theory or a policy but a reality than can be lived by everyone around the world.
