Chief Sustainability Officer

L'Occitane Group

Biography

Raphaëlle Archambeaud-Sicot developed an early fascination with the life sciences, before discovering a passion for business that led her to pursue a career in international marketing. Today, she is the L’OCCITANE Group’s Chief Sustainability Officer. In this strategic position, she leverages her diverse skills and experience to promote respect for nature and people among the Group’s employees and partners.

A graduate of Université Paris Dauphine and ESCP Business School Paris, Raphaëlle started her professional career at Canal+, before moving to La Roche Posay as an Assistant Project Manager in 2007. Soon after, in 2008, she joined L’OCCITANE en Provence, attracted by the brand’s creativity and authenticity. She flourished in this environment, becoming Face Care Group Manager in 2013 and then International Skincare Category Director in 2016. Further success in marketing would certainly have followed, but Raphaëlle subsequently wished to return to her scientific roots and so moved to work on L’OCCITANE en Provence’s ecological commitments.

In time, this led her to the role of Group Sustainability Director. Raphaëlle embraces her role as an ambassador and facilitator within the L’OCCITANE Group. She works with different teams across the Group to set ambitious biodiversity, climate and D&I priorities and targets. Above all, she seeks to ensure that each and every employee understands the contribution they can make and has the resources to bring about they change they want to see.
