Hacina Py is Societe Generale Group’s Chief Sustainability Officer since late 2021.
She joined Societe Generale in 1995 and has progressed through various positions, both in structured finance and in corporate roles. She was appointed Global Head of Export Finance in 2015, leading the transformation of the business line with a strong sustainability focus. She took over the position of Head of Impact Finance Solutions in 2019. Since then, she has launched an ambitious transformation programme to embed the environmental, social and governance (ESG) framework in each business team, with an extensive training agenda, the creation of a network of ESG champions, the launching of a graduate program and the adaptation of teams’ mandates to the new ESG paradigm.
She graduated from the EM Strasbourg business school and studied finance at Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh.
