Fidel Chiriboga

Fidel Chiriboga is an environmental scientist (PhD), biologist, molecular ecologist, Ecuadorian-Swedish, Swiss-based, experienced with and working with a diversity of methodologies and solutions to conserve, restore, monitor and enable co-benefits from forest landscapes globally - particularly in the tropics and subtropics.  

Fidel represents the MyFarmTrees platform from the Alliance Bioversity-CIAT, for which he's working on scaling its impact, implementation and partnerships. MyFarmTrees is an operating, science & evidence-based digital platform that provides solutions for recommendations, monitoring, market access and digital payments to farmers in local smallholder communities restoring forests.
